On Monday, June 24, 2019, at approximately 3:04 PM, the Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company assisted the Galena Volunteer Fire Company with a Small Structure Fire in the 29400 block of Old Locust Grove Road. This is located between Galena and Kennedyville. They were on the scene with a small outbuilding, well-involved with fire.

Our station was staffed with personnel who have day-time availability. We were able to respond immediately with Tower 6 and Tanker 6. While, the crew from Tower 6 assisted with fire attack and mop-up operations, Tanker 6 assisted with the water supply operation.
