On Thursday, April 16, 2020, Fire & EMS Companies from around Kent County and Northern Queen Annes County converged on the University of Maryland, Shore Regional Medical Center at Chestertown. We wanted to show the health professionals who work there our appreciation, admiration and respect.

Emergency equipment was parked around the hospital and all had their emergency lights activated. The event was timed to coincide with shift change, when they would be arriving for their shift, or headed home. Hospital personnel were invited to walk the loop around the hospital and greet those Fire & EMS personnel who had turned out.

When our time there ended, we concluded with an impromptu parade around the hospital.
