At 9:23 am on Sunday, May 10, 2020, the Chestertown VFC, Rock Hall VFC, Kent & Queen Annes Rescue Squad and Kent County EMS was dispatched for the Motor Vehicle Collision with Injuries. The incident was initially dispatched at the intersection of Fairlee Road (Maryland 298) and Old Fairlee Road. The actual location proved to be the intersection of Chestertown Road (Maryland 20) and Old Fairlee Road.

First arriving units found a two (2) vehicle collision, with one (1) vehicle in the field. All occupants were out of the vehicles. Three (3) patients were transported to the University of Maryland, Shore Medical Center at Chestertown with non-life threatening injuries. To prevent the danger of fire, firefighters secured the battery of the car.

Chestertown Road (Maryland 20) was briefly closed during this incident.
