On Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 1:17 am, the Chestertown VFC, K&QA Rescue Squad, Rock Hall VFC, Kennedyville VFC and Kent EMS was dispatched to the Motor Vehicle Crash with Injuries (Serious) at Great Oak Marina, 22170 Great Oak Landing Road. Caller was reporting an individual had fallen from a golf cart going high speed. The patient was reported as unconscious.

Arriving units found one patient presenting with serious injuries. Maryland State Police Aviation was requested with the Landing Zone at the grain tanks / air strip near the entrance to Great Oak Landing.

The patient was subsequently airlifted to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland. At this time, the condition of the patient is unknown.
