Associate Member Debbie Hodges was selected as our March “Inside the Fire Station – Member Spotlight” profile. After they relocated to Chestertown from Anne Arundel County, Debbie joined us in 2006 with her husband, Donald “Donnie” Hodges, Sr. Donnie has prior experience as a volunteer firefighter in Anne Arundel County.
As an associate member her contributions are strictly administrative. Debbie supports the fire company by serving on various committees, and turning out to help staff the various community events we hold, such as our annual Halloween “Truck or Treat”.
Along with husband Donnie, Debbie lives in the Coventry Farms community, off Flatland Road near the WCTR Radio Station. Debbie has two grown children, biological son David Baker, and stepson Donald Hodges, Jr. For leisure, Debbie enjoys camping, reading, doing crafts, swimming, and spending time with grandchildren. She also enjoys working on various home-improvement projects, where she serves as Donnie’s assistant and helper. Debbie is employed by Dixon Valve / Dixon Specialty Products where she is a buyer.
