As our engine and crew assisted with patient care and hazard mitigation, Rescue Engine 4 (Kennedyville VFC) handled the helicopter Landing Zone, located immediately adjacent to the crash scene. The patient was airlifted by Maryland State Police Aviation to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland with serious, life-threatening injuries. As of late Thursday night, the patient’s condition is not known.
