On Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 1:32 pm, the Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a small vehicle on fire at the intersection of Quaker Neck Road (Maryland 289) and Wilkins Lane. This was the second of two working incidents (so far) today. We arrived to find a single vehicle 100% involved with fire. Our crew deployed a single 1-3/4” hose line and safely extinguished the fire. There were no injuries.

The fire scene was turned over to the Maryland State Police for investigation.
