On Wednesday, February 9, 2022, members of the Chestertown VFC went to the new YMCA Family Center, located at the intersection of Haacke Drive and Scheeler Road, for a facility tour. On these tours, personnel can view building safety systems and learn the locations of important components such as the fire sprinkler riser, fire alarm annunciator panels, standpipe and sprinkler hookups, elevator control room, pool chemicals storage room, and Knox Box locations, etc. These facility visits play an important role in our ability to effectively respond to incidents.
