With deep, abiding sadness the Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company announces the passing of long-time Life Member Paul Braucht on Friday, December 26, 2025. Mr. Paul was born and raised in Pennsylvania, but relocated to Chestertown in the early 1960’s. In his prime, he was one of our most active engineer / drivers. As he got older, he retired from actively responding to emergency calls but maintained his participation level by helping with fund raising and other non-emergency activities.
