Dwelling Fire - Edmore Road, Chestertown (Queen Anne's)

On Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 5:07 am, the Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched as automatic mutual aid to the Church Hill Volunteer Fire Company for the Structure Fire in the 100 block of Edmore Road, Chester Harbor, Queen Annes County. First arriving was Church Hill VFC Engine-Tanker 5, with smoke showing.
Chestertown VFC crews supported the Church Hill firefighters with locating and suppressing the fire. The fire originated near the furnace / boiler and extended down into the crawl space. Crews had to employ a chainsaw to remove sections of deck to access the external crawl space access points.
