On Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 11:05 am, units were dispatched to the intersection of Cross Street & Cannon Street for the Motor Vehicle Crash – High Mechanism. 9-1-1 callers were reporting a crash involving a Motorcycle vs. Car.
First Arriving…. Chestertown Police Department… reported motorcycle down in the roadway, one patient with leg and hand injuries. Our Rescue Engine 6 made the response with four (4) personnel. Chestertown VFC Fire Police also responded. Personnel used Kitty Litter, Brooms and a Shovel to clean up fluids (motor oil & coolant) deposited on the roadway.
Chestertown VFC responded with ten (10) personnel.
The incident is being investigated by the Chestertown Police Department.
